Having worked in Theatre for over 30 years as both an Educator and Artist, I started Sandy Nagar Studio as a way to share my knowledge and insights with young people who want to pursue a higher level of Theatre training be it for personal growth, or in pursuit of college and career aspirations

As your Acting Coach, I’ll help you deepen your understanding of the craft and process of acting, elevate and fine-tune your skills, and equip you with
the tools to build confidence in your abilities.
As your Theatre Arts College Consultant, I’ll help you find the college, training program, and degree type that is the best fit for you, your interests, and your educational and career goals.
ABOUT SANDY NAGAR STUDIO
As the owner of Sandy Nagar Studio, and an Independent Educational Consultant, I bring over 30 years of expertise working as a Theatre and Performing Arts Educator, Artist, and Administrator.
During my time as a high school Theatre and Film teacher and director, I've assisted students in the college search, application, and audition process. Several of my students have successfully gained acceptances to Performing Arts programs at schools such as Rider University, Niagara University, SUNY Fredonia, Columbia College, and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA).
I started Sandy Nagar Studio as a way to share my knowledge and insights with young people who want to pursue a higher level of training in the Performing Arts be it in pursuit of college and career aspirations, or for personal growth and development. Recently I completed the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) Summer Training Institute resulting in being granted Associate Membership in that professional organization.
I'm passionate about and committed to helping students and their families navigate the complex and layered process of searching for, applying to, and auditioning/interviewing for college Performing Arts programs.
